When choosing a cat to adopt, you should take into consideration the breed of the cat.   Each cat breed has different characteristics. Here is a checklist of some things to consider to see if the cat breed is right for you.

·         Playfulness

·         Grooming

·         How vocal is the cat

·         Kid friendly

·         Friendly with strangers

·         Grooming level

·         Friendly with other pets

My personal favorite cat breed is the Turkish Angora. My cat Angel was a Turkish Angora and I had her for 14 years. She passed away last year.
